Please teach tithing in the context of other spiritual laws of God. Some people tithe faithfully and God 'has not yet rebuked the devourer'. What other spiritual laws are they breaching? Tithing will not negate other laws (beyond the 10 commandments). They go hand in hand. Otherwise, many tithe to the last coin and still 'suffer' because they are ignorant of spiritual laws- my people perish because they lack knowledge.

Its out of love of God I tithe. I acknowledged that its Him that blesses me and gives me whatever I get so I want Him to protect it and out of faithfulness He continues to entrust me with more and I tithe more. Sometimes not even financially but health or spiritually.

I'm not a Christian, but I like Pastor T Mwangi's knowledge. However, as a Kikuyu Traditionalist, and him being a Kikuyu, I'd like a debate on Traditionalists vs Christians. I am a modern day Berean. Tithing happens to be one of the areas I have struggled with over the years unlike giving because of the love of God we give from our hearts and cheerfully as Apostle Paul indicated. I never heard about tithing when growing up. It became rampant in the mid 90s. If it was so important why didnt Jesus or any of the apostles teach about it. Jesus I beleieve mentioned tithing when he referred to the Pharisees and Scribes - 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel Matthew 23:23-24 What did Jesus mean? Another thing is why is God limited to 10% Isn't that degrading our Maker? Clearly God does not need anything from us but He appears to us in form of human beings as demonstrated in the following verse. Isnt that mockery to God? Because that is not a cheerful giver. and God is placed last.... Another disturbing practice is placing names of givers on the envelopes so that that the congregants can identify with their giving and recieve glory plus special treatment from the so called church......1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:1-4 From what I have gathered, tithe was given to the Levite priests back in the days because they had no land. The remaing tribes of Judah then had to give a tenth of their produce Livestock fruits and vegetables to sustain them. Many may say that in those days there was no money thats why todays preachers converted the crops and animals to money...but thats not true. When Abraham was going to bury His Father he bought land. How did he buy the land? With Shekels...what are Shekels.......13 And he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou wilt give it, I pray thee, hear me: I will give thee money for the field; take it of me, and I will bury my dead there. 14 And Ephron answered Abraham, saying unto him, 15 My lord, hearken unto me: the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver; what is that betwixt me and thee? bury therefore thy dead. 16 And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant. Genesis 23:13-16 Why wasnt tithe given in money form back them but given in livestock and crops? Who changed the rules? Did Apostle Paul emphasize on giving cheerfully because when we give from the heart its more appreciated by God due to the fact we give whole heartedly as in comparison to the grumbling tithe giver who has to deduct expenses before giving to God 10% Dealilng with God not a business in my opinion. Its like you have to give God something before He can give back to you. So my question is....Are the Satanists who are extremely wealthy and running the economy of the world giving tithe? The Middle East have oil reserves which the world depends on thats why they are able to sustain and develop their countries to the level they are at and they are not submissive to the occidentals. I am sure the Nigerian pastor is Joshua Seaman. Almost 10M of Kenyans watch and follow him and I personally love his teaching on giving. Pastor is another blessing in the country.
